Seeking a Java Software Engineer with excellent programming skills. The job consists of using software engineering best practices for designing, implementing, documenting, and testing new features, bug fixes and enhancements of our Margin FX Trading Solutions.
You must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be capable of juggling multiple priorities. It is essential that you will be able to deliver as an individual contributor, while also assisting others when applicable. You must be self-motivated and a quick learner. You will be working as a team-member closely with other software engineers, development and product manager, along with our QA team.

Minimum 2-3 years experience in the following areas:
Java, JDBC, SQL, Tomcat, Apache, JBOSS 5 or other application server, EJB, Java based XML APIs, JMX, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JSP, SERVLET, JSF or other framework, Financial Information eXchange Protocol, SH script, Ant and JUnit.

Desired Skills and Technologies:
Swing, JMS, FrameWork, FLEX.

Job Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years experience in Client side Java programming, preferably in a Margin Trading technology company.
• In depth understanding and proven experience of Java/J2EE development in Client-Server Application.
• LINUX system experiences A PLUS!
• Minimum 2 years experience with OO (Object Oriented) design and programming.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good process skills - experience in participating in design and code reviews.
• BA / BSc degree in computer science or computer engineering.

A strong knowledge of at least one Microsoft language, (C# -preferred) or a high level understanding of UNIX, Java, J2EE .
