Lead and drive planning & execution of Design transfer Process to Supply Chain .
Provide leadership, planning and technical support for the introduction of processes for new product development and existing manufacturing. Implement efforts to improve product and process quality.
Working in challenging work environment with both individual project work and team interaction.
Essential Responsibilities:Ensure early focus of manufacturability in New Product Introduction (NPI) & existing install base
Maintain broad knowledge of product design, manufacture and assembly techniques.
Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes
Creating and updating standard work, operating procedures, and test methods.
Communicating cross functionally to execute improvement project
Generate and maintain detailed assembly work instructions including narrative, diagrams, photographs, attachments, and linked documents.
Support and work on design change management activities
Determine root cause of failure in manufacturing that may result in changes in design, tolerances, or processing methods or supplier improvement activities.
hands-on capability to work on projects without supervision.
•Bachelor's degree in /Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
•3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering supporting new product introduction •Experience with PDM systems such as Agile, create and maintain bills of materials, configuration aids, and engineering change orders.•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.•Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and proficiency with Six Sigma, project management, FMEAs, and quality systems•Experienced user of Microsoft office software applications including MS Word, Project, Excel, Visio, and Power Point.•Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings, and to use viewing and editing tools such as AutoCAD.
