The Business Analyst will lead the analysis and design phase of business transformation projects through the implementation of new core insurance software provided by Sapiens and plays a central role with Sapiens clients (Insurance Companies).
The Business Analyst will:
become an expert of Sapiens software applications and the out of the box system functionalities with the aim to support customer’s business process and requirements;
work with Sapiens clients to understand the state-of-the-art of their business processes, architecture and insurance products and to define how to improve them with Sapiens software application as their foundation principle;
define new system functionalities as required;
run workshops and work closely with the clients to gather requirements and to define, document, and present the solutions back to them;
work closely with project management, product management, development, and testing teams to ensure a high-quality implementation of the defined solutions.
Map out the differences between the customer requirements and the current core system features;
Facilitate the negotiation of requirements between the customer and Sapiens IDIT Core suite for Insurance;
Lead, or participate in, customer workshops;
Analyze the gaps in the requirements and point to the appropriate solution in order to solve;
Draft and write deliverables;
Build solution design based on the Sapiens IDIT Core functionalities;
Creating, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications;
Lead, or participate in, Solution Design workshops;
Understand the customer business processes and procedures and how they translate into IDIT system functionalities;
Write solution design documents (SDS, iSDS, setup books);
Provide support throughout the project lifecycle;
Provide support to customers;
Provide support to the development, QA, UAT and production teams.
Skills & Requirements
3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst supporting end-to-end solutions design and implementing significant functional change and numerous implementations
Experience working in Agile environments
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent system design skills
General Insurance knowledge; Experience with insurance information systems – Advantages
Fluent English (written and verbal)
Additional European language - An advantage.
Up to 50% travel to customers’ sites (European destinations)
