The Sales Engineering team is the technical arm of the Sales Organization. Our engineers bring to life the innovative communications solutions that make a difference, to our customers, in the moments that matter.
Design, present and propose wireless communication systems, Video and Software solutions for our end customers, from the conceptual phases through equipment ordering.
Define and generate technical content for equipment quotations and system proposals based on customer requirements.
Support Sales by developing solutions. Co-operate with the Key Account Managers and Project Managers to develop and present system solutions. Engage with product groups and other Motorola Solutions’ departments to ensure quality of the proposed technical solution
Participate and interact with customers, partners, and colleagues to act as a “trusted advisor” for the pre-sale and promotion of Motorola Solutions' product and services offering.
Understand and convert customer needs into technical requirements, then document appropriately and influence customer specifications. Present solution to end customer and partners.
Collaborate with procurement department to identify, select and engage with qualified third party suppliers and sub-contractors.
-Degree in communications engineering gained through a recognized period of study at University, or, equivalent education or experience in electrical/electronic engineering.
-Five years minimum experience in systems engineering and/or project management of wireless communications solutions
-Substantial experience/familiarity working in a government customer facing role, preferably at an international level
-Experience in one or more of the following is preferred: Radio Systems Engineering, Command and Control Systems, Local and Wide Area Networks, Networking Protocols, Integration projects.
