Developer Marketing is focused on driving the success of Google's developer platforms, such as Android, Google Assistant, AR/VR, and others, by delivering global, scalable programs, events and creative marketing campaigns to engage software engineers and developers. You will have a passion for innovative software technology and an understanding of how developers use our APIs and tools to achieve business growth. Working closely with other product marketing managers, engineers, designers, and others to own, drive, and execute a wide range of marketing initiatives.
The Developer Marketing Manager for Middle East & Africa (MEA) will help local developers build quality apps/games/sites and grow successful businesses on our platforms - including Android, Google Play, Chrome OS, Flutter, Firebase and Web Platform - by designing and executing programs, creative marketing campaigns and other initiatives, content and channels.
You will have a passion for apps and games business models and understanding how developers use our products and tools to achieve success.
You are driven and will ramp up quickly immersing yourself in the local developer community to understand their needs and will envision programs and initiatives that will maximize reach, efficacy, and impact at scale. You possess a high degree of comfort and flexibility when working both independently and cross-functionally (with other stakeholders in the developer marketing team, business development, product, developer relations, local marketing teams, engineering, and other stakeholders).

Envision and execute the Platforms & Ecosystems (P&E) developer marketing strategy for MEA. Coordinate or drive pan-EMEA initiatives.
Manage the events calendar for MEA and execute hosted, cross-functional and industry events end-to-end, including all content and logistics.
Produce high quality content to support local developers, including pitch decks, event content, case studies (written and video), e-learning resources and others. Localize global content and scale local best practices, including paid promotional campaigns.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from Merchandising, Consumer marketing and other teams on programs and initiatives that will improve the performance of MEA developers.
Impact tracking, reporting and best practice sharing.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in B2B marketing management or scaled partner relationship management.
Experience working with B2B marketing channels such as content marketing, event marketing, community marketing and direct emails.
Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Experience working with apps/games/web developers, both business and technical audiences. Experience with gaming and knowledge of the regional developer ecosystem would be ideal.
Experience delivering high production quality, high profile B2B events. Experience creating thought leadership content.
Passion for analyzing products/customers/market dynamics. Problem-solving mindset. Outstanding attention to detail. Strong influencing and relationship building skills, with local and geographically dispersed teams.
Strong project and budget management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Willing to travel (once possible) and work flexible hours.
Fluency in Arabic and Turkish. Outstanding communication skills in English.
