Champion a sustainable EHS culture to ensure employee Safety & Health and to protect the Environment, in order to enable compliant operations and business effectiveness.
Main Responsibilities and Deliverables
Support in Engineering characterization
Evaluate designs and system specifications to ensure EHS&S aspects are integrated and adequated to system use purposes.
Perform root cause analyses of safety/environmental events.
Adapt EHS platforms and support in trustee team to complete qualitative drills, observation and inspections in the work area.
Assess and Mitigate Risks
Identify EHS risks and define proactive mitigations. Ensure that site changes in processes, equipment and systems are carried out in accordance with the concepts of EHS by design and relevant EHS requirements.
Support Continuous EHS Improvement
Lead continuous improvement in EHS using Operational Excellence principles and visible-felt leadership to achieve 'target zero' goals and to enable compliant operations and business effectiveness.
Manage Relations external suppliers
Develop trusted and proactive relationships with external suppliers to promote compliance and social responsibility, in Teva's business interest.
Support EHS Regulatory Compliance
Implement Teva Global standards and provide guidance to site trustee team, conduct internal audits, to ensure compliance with all applicable requirements. Design corrective and preventative actions.
Bachelor's Degree: Engineering degree or Master in Chemistry or related science - based degre.
Advantage: Degree in safety/ industrial hygiene/ Chemistry/ environment/Machin. Exceptions will be examined individually.
Adequate practical experience with ran programs in a highly regulated environment, i.e. Production/ Quality/ Engineering.
Advanced technical knowledge in Engineering, Process Safety or Chemical engineering.
Practical experience of performing complex risk assessments, and adequate knowledge of applicable hazard communication.
5+ years of Basic EHS experience (Technically Focused).
Basic knowledge of RnD process and systems.
Basic knowledge in Process Safety.
Basic knowledge of OPEX principles and tools.
International experience is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of local current and upcoming legislation and current best EHS practices.
Adequate technical knowledge in EHS is an advantage (such as: lab safety, waste, water, air emissions, audit and inspection, industrial hygiene, hazard communication, ergonomics).
Fluent English (writing and speaking) - MUST.
Proficiency in the local language.
