PowerFleet is the leading provider of E2E wireless asset management solutions, is offering a great opportunity for an experienced system engineer. to serve as a key contributor to this growing technology company.
The system engineer will be an integral member of our dynamic, innovative, and diverse engineering team. Responsible for leading design & development, and managing integration and verification of functional/system requirements.
· Be a technical leader for assigned projects among cross-functional teams (customers, product / program and product management, product development, manufacturing / operations, quality assurance, customer support and sales)
· Execute the design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and by adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
·Gather, refine, and document System/Subsystem Level requirements, Product Descriptions, ICD’s, FMEA’s, DFSS / DFR Scorecards, Engineering Support Requests, and other analyses as well as reliability and quality process documents
·Define and document system documentation, RFQ’s and RFP’s
· Work with Principal Engineers to generate and execute design review matrices and reviews
·Develop product roll out and deployment plans, including field tests, Alpha and Beta Tests, and Production Releases
·Take ownership of technology concepts, solution, risks / mitigation plans, and engineering cost, scope, and schedule estimates on proposals
·Provide timely communication on significant issues or developments, and escalate risks and critical decisions to upper management.
·Bs.c in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other closely related technical / science discipline; Master’s Degree highly preferred
·Minimum of 5 years hands-on design and implementation experience involving Engineering Systems, Hardware/Software Engineering, and/or Electrical Design in the IoT space.
·Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Engineer for hardware devices
·Must have the unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
