The Global Procurement COE Lead will have responsibility to improve the end-to-end efficiency and effectiveness of Source to Pay processes through proven process improvement methodologies (ie.Lean Six Sigma, Business Process Management, etc.). He/She will apply thorough project management principles in leading cross-functional initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable and measureable business results, focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Accountable to drive change management processes and ensure that all implemented processes are compliant with external regulations and internal Teva procedures. Directly manage specific senior stakeholder relations (inside and outside Procurement) in all regions. In addition, he/she will be responsible to develop and manage a comprehensive set of benchmark metrics that convey success metrics for Global Procurement, evaluate performance and drive towards best in class performance in alignment with the Procurement mission and vision.



Primary accountabilities:

Accountable for Global Procurement’s Programs, internal focused such as L&D or cross-functional such as with Legal or Finance or Supply Chain. Includes stakeholder’s relations and ensuring a cadence of relationship management activities such as quarterly reviews of in flight and planned or proposed programs. Provide single point of accountability for GP’s S2P programs.
Develop and drive transformational S2P processes, oversee milestones and timelines and proactively secure execution in timely manner
Collaborate with other Global Procurement teams and other functions to ensure a seamless linkage across the Source-to-Pay process.
Develop and manage a comprehensive set of metrics and reporting capabilities that convey the success metrics of Global Procurement metrics.
Responsible for process mapping and root-cause analysis activities that lead to identification of process “wastes”, structural inefficiencies and process improvement opportunities.
Identify and launch new Procurement Programs and initiatives to improve efficiency, effectiveness and drive results and compliance
Ensure all programs and processes are documented (incl. RASCIs) and employees are trained
Responsible to ensure that staffing and expenses remain within budget.
He/She is accountable to ensure that all the teams work is organized, synchronized , that staff is coached and has learning opportunities, for succession planning and for recruiting and termination.

10+ years of source to pay (procurement)
Project management and process improvement experience; Six Sigma/BPM experience required
5+ yrs in managing team is required
Pharma industry experience: obligatory
Required experience in a global environment, leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple simultaneous high visibility projects.
Working knowledge of financial and managerial accounting principles
Experience in Ariba or other S2C/P2P solutions desirable
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, materials mgmt., purchasing, business or engineering is required
MBA or relevant MS degree preferred
Professional certification in purchasing or supply chain is desirable, e.g. from ISM (CPSM, CSM, CPM), from APICS (CPIM, CIRM), from EPIM, etc.
Proven leadership capabilities and strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills including cross-functional teamwork, effective written and oral communication skills, strong multi-cultural skills, high energy levels and a bias towards action

Some overseas travel required
