An international company, with a strong presence in selling hardware solutions in the industrial market, is expanding into the SaaS market.
We are seeking an experienced SAAS Business Development Director to drive business growth and revenue for our new BI (Business Intelligence) offering to SMB (Small and Medium size Business) based on our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key partners and customers, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop and execute new business opportunities to drive revenue growth for the SAAS BI platform, with a focus on SMBs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and customers to drive business growth and increase customer satisfaction.
• Establish and refine sales processes for the new offering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management to drive revenue growth and develop go-to-market strategies.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the SAAS BI market, including trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and use this knowledge to identify new business opportunities.
• Analyse market data and sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize revenue growth.
• Work closely with the sales team to identify new sales leads, develop sales strategies, and close new business deals.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven track record of success as a Senior Business Development Manager or similar role in SAAS offering, with a focus on SMBs.
• Strong understanding and experience in the BI industry.
• Excellent analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience developing and executing revenue strategies in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Strong sales skills, with experience closing deals with partners and customers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with partners, customers, and colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams.
• Ability to travel as needed.
