Magnet Design Physicist

תיאור משרה
Develop new MRI permanent magnet designs.
Develop new magnetic field shimming procedures.
Develop MRI gradient coils.
Develop simulation environments and optimization infrastructure for the above.
Support and improve existing manufacturing procedures.
דרישות התפקיד
Strong physics background, PhD in experimental physics (an advantage), MSc – a must.
Experience with hardware-software interface (an advantage).
Matlab experience – a must.
At least one of the following, preferably both:
Experienced with optimization problems in physics.
Experience with magnet physics
background in electromagnetic simulations (an advantage).
Ability of conducting and leading independent research and development
Responsible and serious work attitude.
