Claims and Debt Collection Manager

Coface is a global leader in trade credit insurance, providing businesses with solutions to protect themselves against the risk of unpaid invoices. We are seeking an experienced Debt Collection and Claims Manager to join our team. This role is hands-on, with a primary focus on dealing with the end-to-end debt collection and claims processes, ensuring compliance, and directly engaging with insured customers and the debtors. Key responsibilities:
- Execute the debt collection process
- Assess, investigate, and process insurance claims
- Ensure all claims and collections activities comply with internal policies and external regulations
- Prepare and maintain accurate case documentation for audits and reporting
- Serve as the main point of contact for insured customers, providing guidance and resolving complex cases
- Analyze collection performance data and recommend improvements to maximize recovery rates
- Supervise and coordinate with external collection agencies and legal partners
- Initiate and drive process improvements and ensure best practices are implemented across the team
