Technician for an Industrial Computing Company

Our company specializes in industrial computing solutions and is looking for a skilled technician to join our Server Automation Department. This role involves designing, building, and operating automated end-to-end server provisioning pipelines using tailor-made scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code.
Core Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain automated provisioning pipelines.
Create and maintain server images (Windows/WinPE, Linux), unattended installs, driver injection, and post-provisioning configuration.
Integrate provisioning processes with CI/CD (image builds, firmware updates, tests, deployments).
Write automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Bash.
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and monitoring/alerting for provisioning flows.
Required Skills & Experience

Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Understanding of Windows and Unix-based operating systems.
Strong debugging skills and clear documentation habits.
Ability to read, write, and speak technical English.
Advantages
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Solid understanding of server hardware lifecycle (BIOS/UEFI, RAID, drivers, firmware updates).
Knowledge of PXE/iPXE, DHCP, TFTP, and network boot troubleshooting.
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
Experience with firmware/BIOS automation and vendor tools.
Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for image/build tooling.
Working with JSON/YAML configuration templates.
Experience in regulated environments (audit trails, reproducibility, traceability).
