We are looking to hire a part time Statistical Programming Assistant (15-20 hours a week) The role supports research on Holocaust survivor demography and population studies through statistical programming, data preparation, and analysis in R. The position involves working closely with senior research staff on active projects, including constructing and cleaning complex datasets, implementing statistical models, and producing reproducible research outputs. Clean, restructure, and validate research data Write and maintain R code for data preparation and applied statistical modeling Prepare datasets for statistical analysis and modeling Develop reproducible analysis workflows, including documented R scripts and organized outputs Prepare summary tables, statistical results, and visualizations Assist with data extraction and manipulation using SQL databases Collaborate with senior research staff to support ongoing research activities
