CFO/VP Finance to lead our financial operations and build a scalable finance infrastructure for an early stage, well-funded AI startup leading our next phase of growth.
Work closely with the CEO and leadership team, and play a key role in shaping the company's financial strategy, operational excellence, and long-term success.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial expertise, business acumen, and a startup mindset, with the ability to move seamlessly between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Business Partnership
• Serve as a strategic financial partner to the CEO and leadership team, supporting key business decisions and long-term growth initiatives.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling to support business objectives.
• Own financial performance analysis, cash flow management, burn rate, and runway optimization.
• Develop financial models, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to drive data-informed decisions.
• Support fundraising activities, investor relations, board reporting, and financial due diligence.
Finance Operations & Infrastructure
• Own end-to-end financial operations across the company's US and Israeli entities.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, payroll-related financial processes, and treasury management.
• Manage external accounting firms, auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial service providers.
• Establish scalable financial processes, internal controls, policies, and systems to support company growth.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Commercial & Operational Finance
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to support resource allocation and business planning.
• Build and maintain SaaS financial models, including ARR, revenue forecasts, customer acquisition costs, unit economics, and profitability metrics.
• Support pricing strategies, commercial agreements, and financial evaluation of new business opportunities.
• Lead headcount planning, compensation budgeting, and operational expense management.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities while driving cost efficiency and operational discipline.

• 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant financial leadership experience in the technology industry.
• Proven experience in a venture-backed startup, ideally at Seed, Series A - B, or early growth stage.
• Experience leading financial operations in a company with both US and Israeli entities.
• Strong background in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modeling.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working directly with CEOs, executive leadership teams, investors, and board members.
• Strong business orientation and ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on, independent, and execution-oriented, with the ability to build processes from scratch and operate effectively in a lean startup environment.
• Excellent English, both written and spoken.
Advantage :
• Experience in B2B SaaS, AI, data infrastructure, or enterprise software companies.
• Previous involvement in fundraising rounds and investor due diligence.
• Experience building finance functions and implementing financial systems in early-stage startups.
• CPA qualification or background in a leading accounting firm.
• Experience supporting US go-to-market expansion and international operations.
