Develop and maintain firmware code - written in C that controls baseband signal processing, HW accelerators and RF front-end functions.
Define and implement real-time control flows for 5G PHY features.
Design HW SW real-time interactions.
Bring up new silicon: Use HW emulators, SW simulators and JTAG probes, as well as collaborate with HW and other SW teams to design and test new chips.
Implement algorithms defined by and in collaboration with ALG teams, and collaborate with these teams to validate their performance in lab and on live cellular networks.
Integrate GNSS and other positioning technologies to provide hybrid cellular + satellite location capabilities.
Contribute to code reviews, CI pipelines, and on-target automated testing to ensure robustness and maintainability.
Analyze performance bottlenecks and optimize CPU, memory, and power consumption to meet stringent IoT constraints.
BSc in Electrical, Computer, or Communication Engineering from an established university.
5-10 years of hands-on firmware development in real-time embedded environments.
Proficiency in C for resource-constrained devices.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Technical Background
Solid understanding of baremetal and real-time system concepts .
Advantage: familiarity with modem architectures and wireless standards such as GSM, LTE, 5G NR, or Wi-Fi.

Advantage: experience with digital signal processing concepts
Advantage: scripting and data-analysis skills in Python and MATLAB.
