Nanomotion is seeking a motivated Control Engineering student to join our R&D team on a part-time basis. Our team develops advanced motion systems using proprietary piezoelectric motors, supporting diverse applications in the semiconductor industry, BioMED, optical systems for defence, and space programs. This role involves contributing to the development, design, and implementation of control systems that drive our high-precision motion mechanisms.

1. Assist in the research, analysis, and design of control systems in accordance with product requirements.
2. Support the implementation of control algorithms on Nanomotion embedded controllers or third-party controllers.
3. Document design requirements and assist in testing for production, including supporting the transfer of design outputs and troubleshooting.
4. Collaborate with Embedded Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
5. Write scripts to support Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and application-specific functions.
Position Details:
• Part-time position: 2 – 3 days per week.
1. Currently pursuing a BSc or MSc degree in Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with at least 1.5 years remaining until graduation.
2. Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink.Python control package.
3. Strong technical aptitude and deep understanding of engineering principles.
4. Good English verbal and written communication skills.
5. Knowledge of control systems and experience with common controllers (ACS, ELMO, Delta Tau, Mega F, etc.) is a plus.
