Data Center Project Manager

Responsibilities
As a successful Datacenter Project Manager, your performance objectives will consist of:
• Create and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on time delivery.
• Establish and enhance strong working relationships with customers.
• Plan, manage, and communicate end-to-end project plans with stakeholders and teams.
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and communicate to stakeholders and other teams
to drive resolution.
• Gather and provide feedback on lessons learned, best practices, and innovations on
process/procedures and tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Work with various Engineering, Operations, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, DC
Build Managers, and Regional?Technical Infrastructure Managers during project planning
and execution.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
• 2 years of experience in Project Management positions in the IT or datacenters fields.
• Strong written, verbal in English and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate
and follow-through on projects.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
• Working knowledge of physical IT infrastructures (e.g. Servers, SANs, Networking, etc.)
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure
environment.

Preferred / Optional Skills and Experience
• 2 years of experience in a production, mission-critical, 24x7x365 operations environment.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs,
incorporate feedback, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with a variety of internal and
external stakeholders.
• 2 years of experience in the technical field of power distribution and data center
mechanical cooling systems
• BA/BS in Engineering, Project Management, or similar technical focus.
