Overview:

A boutique hedge fund and broker-dealer seek a detail-oriented and proactive accounting and operations professional to support both hedge fund operations and a growing SPAC
(Special Purpose Acquisition Company) business line. The role offers broad exposure to fund operations & accounting, treasury management, and transaction execution within an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Hedge Fund Operations

Perform daily trade booking, position reconciliations, and cash reconciliations.
Daily portfolio pricing
Monitor and manage margin and FX exposure across portfolios
Maintain supporting schedules and update internal databases for investor reporting, incentive calculations, and compliance and regulatory filings.
Execute and approve treasury-related investment wires.


SPAC Management

Oversee day-to-day operations of existing SPAC entities and coordinate upcoming SPAC launches.
Work directly with the CEO on strategic and operational aspects of SPAC formation and
execution.
Serve as liaison among external legal counsel, underwriters, auditors, and accountants during SPAC sponsor and vehicle formation, IPO, and ongoing public reporting.
Coordinate with public relations and valuation firms on transaction-related
deliverables.
Collaborate with analysts and bankers in evaluating target companies and managing the de-SPAC process.
