Mobile Tech Lead

We are looking for a hands-on Mobile App Tech Lead to own and lead the mobile domain within Netafim’s Digital Farming division.
This is a highly technical role combining architectural ownership with hands-on development.
You will build and evolve production-grade mobile applications used at scale, while providing technical leadership to a small team of mobile developers.
What you’ll do
Lead the design and hands-on implementation of mobile applications (Flutter-based), including backend services required for mobile use cases
Own mobile architecture, performance, scalability, and code quality
Drive mobile technical decisions and engineering standards
Translate product requirements into end-to-end mobile solutions
Provide technical leadership and daily guidance to a small mobile team
Collaborate closely with product, QA, and device teams, and actively design and develop backend services for mobile use cases
דרישות התפקיד
What we’re looking for:
Must-have
7+ years hands-on experience as a mobile engineer (iOS, Android, or cross-platform)
5+ years experience leading production-grade mobile applications with architectural ownership
3+ years experience working with REST APIs and real-time communication
Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)
Strong experience designing and developing backend / BFF services for mobile applications
Hands-on backend development experience (preferably .NET) in production systems
Advantage
Hands-on Flutter experience in production systems
State management experience (Bloc, Provider, or equivalent)
Strong Dart proficiency
BLE, offline-first, or IoT mobile experience
Firebase or Azure experience
