Senior Photonic researcher
תיאור משרה
•; Design, build, and experimentally characterize advanced photonic devices and systems:
o Develop state-of-the-art low-loss photonic interfaces and components
o Work on high-performance optical devices for routing, modulation, and control
• Build and operate optical setups for precise measurement and performance characterization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including physics, engineering, and fabrication partners
• Contribute to the transition from early-stage prototypes to robust system-level implementations
דרישות התפקיד
• PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
• Strong experimental track record in one or more of:
o Silicon photonics or related platforms
o Electro-optic or high-speed optical devices
• Hands-on experience with optical characterization and lab-based experimentation
• Proven ability to drive complex experimental projects independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Background in optical cavities, resonators, or cavity QED
• Experience with high-speed optical modulation or routing
• Familiarity with heterogeneous integration or multi-material photonic platforms
• Cleanroom / nanofabrication experience
