Leading the operational planning process and managing operational projects within the company. This role includes responsibility for building production and procurement plans, inventory optimization, and leading cross-organizational projects to improve operational processes.
Planning, managing, and controlling the organization's production and operational plans, balancing customer demands (Sales) with production capabilities and inventory to ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) and maximize resource efficiency.
MPS Management: Building and managing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with sales forecasts and customer orders.
Material Readiness: Responsibility for the availability of raw materials and components for production while balancing inventory targets and costs.
Inventory Control: Managing and monitoring inventory levels (Raw Materials, WIP, and Finished Goods) to prevent shortages or excess.
Supply Chain Collaboration: Working closely with the Procurement department to track the supply chain and lead times.
Bottleneck Management: Prioritizing and providing solutions for production floor bottlenecks.
Scheduling: Establishing timelines and recommending approval for customer orders.
Performance Monitoring: Controlling actual performance vs. planning, tracking outputs, and production efficiency.
Process Improvement: Leading projects for operational efficiency, workflow improvement, material flow optimization, and lead-time reduction.
Subcontractor Management: Managing work interfaces with local subcontractors
Education: Practical Engineer or B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience: Approximately 2 years of experience as a Planner in an industrial company (Experience in the Medical Device industry – a significant advantage).
Technical Skills: Excellent command of ERP systems (Priority – advantage) and high-level data analysis skills in Excel.
Languages: High-level English (specifically writing skills).
Tools: Familiarity with BI tools – advantage.
Multi-tasking: Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment and under pressure.
Analytical Thinking: A broad systemic view combined with strong attention to detail.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive cross-functional processes without direct formal authority (Matrix Management).
