CloudBuzz by ONE is a Cloud & Data company dedicated to helping organizations successfully adopt and leverage cloud technologies.
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and take part in designing, building, and maintaining modern, cloud-native data platforms.
This is a hands-on and strategic role, working on complex Data projects for some of Israel's largest enterprises. The role involves building scalable data pipelines, developing data models, working with Data Warehouses and Data Lakes, and optimizing cloud workloads for performance and cost.
You will collaborate closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Architects across a variety of projects and customer environments.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Data Models and Data Pipelines from multiple data sources.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance data solutions.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes.
• Work with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and cloud-native data platforms.
• Optimize data workloads for performance and cost efficiency.
• Design and implement solutions aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Architects across projects.
• Take a hands-on role in solving complex technical challenges and delivering end-to-end data solutions.

Must-Have Skills
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong expertise in ETL/ELT, Dimensional Modeling, and SQL.
• Strong experience with Cloud Data Architectures and Data Warehousing, including Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Data Pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services:
o AWS Glue
o Amazon Redshift
o Amazon S3
o AWS Lambda
o AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Experience with dbt and Airflow.
• Experience with Python and/or R scripting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system-level thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a highly professional team.
Advantages
