What’s the job?
The Payment Approval Team are responsible for reviewing and validating the lines of businesses and incoming payments of our customers to ensure we can support them against Payoneer’s Terms & Conditions.
To maintain day-to-day operations while managing, supporting and developing a team of up to 15 representatives
Act as a domain expert and the team’s focal point, supporting them with questions, escalations, and QA, and provide hands-on support as required
Responsible for regularly conducting effective feedback conversations and ensuring the team meets their performance goals
You will need to performance manage the team in all aspects, including but not limited to identify areas for each associate’s personal growth and development and guide them through professional advancement
Proactively identify areas of opportunity and suggest initiatives related to the Payment Approval domain
Work in a highly dynamic fintech environment, collaborating with colleagues globally
Have you done this kind of stuff?
2 - 3 years previous experience in a managerial/supervisory role
High English level
Able to deal with ambiguity and manage changing priorities
Previous experience working with operational teams- MUST
Previous experience working in the world of payments/ as part of an international team - advantage
Fast learner with the ability to operate both independently as well as part of a team
Agile, flexible, and adaptable, with confidence to make decisions and apply creative thinking in a fast-paced environment with minimal documentation and process
