This hands-on Communications Leader is experienced in all facets of Corporate Communications including internal and external communications with a focus on issues and change management. He/she will partner with Teva Global Operations (TGO) sites in Teva’s International Markets region to drive a stronger line of sight to TGO goals and Teva business priorities and will be a key point of contact for senior manufacturing and supply leaders. He/she will primarily focus on internal engagement, corporate and network-wide programs and leading critical change communications and network optimization initiatives. He/she will be expected to influence across a highly matrixed global organization, working closely with TGO, Human Resources and Global Communications & Brand leaders located across Teva.
Roles & Responsibilities
Act as strategic partner for senior leaders at our Teva Global Operations (TGO) sites in our International Markets region, including Site General Managers and others to understand and support their business needs through communications planning and execution.
Translate global objectives into relevant strategies that engage employees, enable managers, empower leaders and simplify processes to support the business.
Lead communications for network optimization and business transformation initiatives across TGO working in concert with colleagues responsible for communications at manufacturing and supply sites and in Teva’s business regions.
Establish and lead a site communications network to partner with at the local level to implement global (TGO and Corporate) programs and pull through organizational messages; coach leaders; and standardize and simplify site communications processes.
Simplify complex business information and produce engaging and effective content in a variety of styles and formats for multiple channels at the global, regional and site levels.
Define success parameters and monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
Ensure communications within manufacturing and supply sites are consistent with broader TGO and Teva messaging and branding.
Advise sites on internal/external/reputation/brand issues.
Advise and assist manufacturing segment and/or global function leaders with key programs and executive messages.
Partner with TGO Communications team members and Global Communications & Brand team members to manage product quality issues, and drive internal communications and change programs, channels and platforms at the global level.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, PR or similar.
10-15 years of overall experience in corporate communications, PR or marketing with focus on internal communications.
Highly articulate and influential leader with excellent written communications and presentation skills.
Significant experience in leading issues management, change programs and product quality issues.
Ability to build relationships as a trusted advisor with leaders/managers at all levels globally; ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
A team player with an ability to deal with the ambiguity that can come from working in a matrix global environment.
Ability to lead and influence in a highly matrixed global environment.
Ability to evaluate and change priorities daily and to perform efficiently within a fast-paced team environment.
Highly motivated and collaborative, well organized, creative and innovative, and possesses good time and project management skills.
Strong attention to detail, managing multiple projects while ensuring accuracy; carry out both strategic and practical hands-on communication activities.
Knowledge of social media and new media channels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Knowledge of Poppulo and Survey Monkey a plus.
Pharmaceutical industry/Manufacturing knowledge a plus.
