• Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies
• Track and report to management, key functional metrics related to expenses, supplier quality and overall supply stability
• Ensure optimal commercial terms achieved and performed for all significant deals made by the team
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent service, support, and cross functional communications flow
• Employ problem solving skills and methodology to resolve issues that may disturb on-going operations
• Assess, manage, and mitigate risks
• Manage supplier performance and compliance process
• Perform cost scenario analysis and benchmarking
• Overseas travel may be applicable
• Other duties may be assigned
Required education and experience:
• Management experience as a purchasing manager, responsible of 2 employees or more.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field (industrial engineering and management, economics, logistics, etc ...)
• Fluent Hebrew and English (verbal and written).
• High proficiency in Excel.
