Carrar is seeking a Research-Oriented Mechanical Engineer to drive research, development, and technology innovation. This role is highly analytical and exploratory, with an emphasis on patent engagement, data analysis, and translating research findings into protectable and scalable engineering solutions.

Location: Sderot, Israel (on-site, full-time)

Key Responsibilities :
• Conduct fundamental and applied mechanical engineering research to develop novel concepts and architectures.
• Perform technical investigations, feasibility studies, and trade-off analyses based on experimental and simulated data.
• Analyze datasets from experiments, and field data to extract insights and guide design decisions.
• Work in collaboration with IP counsel to generate invention disclosures and actively contribute to patent drafting.
• Develop analytical, numerical, and simplified physics-based models to support research hypotheses and technology validation.
