Key Responsibilities:
• Change Management: Control and implementation of engineering change processes, including ECO and ECR.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage product lifecycles from early development stages through high-volume production until End of Life (EOL).
• Impact Analysis: Analyze engineering changes and their impact on the company’s operational chain; update and synchronize relevant interfaces accordingly.
• Process Characterization: Lead the characterization and optimization of configuration control processes within the organization.
• NPI Leadership: Escort NPI (New Product Introduction) projects and coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure manufacturing plans meet the product’s strategic goals.
• PLM Strategy: Characterize and define requirements for the PLM system for configuration control purposes.
• Engineering Support: Provide assistance and support to mechanical and electronic design engineers regarding engineering information management and workflow processes.
