Senior VP of Strategy & Business

We are hiring a Senior VP of Strategy & Business Development for a climate-tech startup to lead the company’s commercial strategy, market prioritization, partnerships, and go-to-market execution.
The role reports directly to the CEO and includes defining beachhead markets, building business plans for priority segments, developing pricing and commercial models, leading strategic partnerships, managing pilots, and supporting the investor-facing business plan.

Requirements:
• Senior strategy/business development experience in B2B industrial, infrastructure, water, climate-tech, sustainability, or hardware-plus-service companies.
• Strong analytical skills: market segmentation, pricing, unit economics, business planning, and financial modelling.
• Proven hands-on business development experience: opening markets, building partnerships, leading pilots, and working with senior stakeholders.
• International business experience - required.
• Excellent English -required.
• Experience in water, sustainability, emerging markets, governments, NGOs, distributors, or infrastructure projects -strong advantage.
• Spanish or additional languages - advantage.
