Senior International Resource Development Coordinator
We’re looking for someone who takes full ownership of their work, thinks strategically,
identifies new opportunities, builds meaningful relationships, and drives initiatives from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage Chimes Israel’s international fundraising activities.
• Develop and implement a long-term international fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals and priorities.
• Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with foundations, Jewish Federations, private donors, corporations, and institutional funders worldwide, with a primary focus on the United States.
• Initiate and lead new fundraising opportunities while expanding the organization’s international donor network.
• Write and submit compelling grant proposals and funding requests in English.
• Prepare donor reports, grant reports, and ongoing stewardship communications.
• Build, cultivate, and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective donors.
• Develop high-quality marketing and fundraising materials in English, including presentations, project proposals, brochures, and donor-specific materials.
• Manage the organization’s English-language digital assets, including the website, newsletters, social media, and other marketing content.
• Develop annual and multi-year work plans, monitor performance against goals, and lead implementation of fundraising initiatives.

• Deep familiarity with American philanthropic culture — required.
• Minimum five years of experience in international fundraising, grant writing, and donor relations — required.
• Demonstrated experience working with foundations, Jewish Federations, and international private donors.
• Outstanding writing and communication skills in English.
• Experience developing work plans and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills in English.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and foundation research databases.
• Bachelor’s degree — required.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
