We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Proposal Manager (3–5 years of experience) to
lead, manage, and oversee our end-to-end proposal submission process. In this role, you will
be responsible for coordinating and assembling high-quality, winning proposals that effectively
convey our company's solutions and services for both public and private sector tenders.
This position has a heavy emphasis on commercial and financial acumen. The ideal candidate
will look beyond standard proposal compilation and compliance, taking a proactive role in
assessing deal risks, building financial models (P&L), and driving the business parameters that
lead to winning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• End-to-End Bid Management: Manage and coordinate all aspects of the proposal
process, including responding to RFPs, RFIs, and customer quotes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various internal teams
(Sales, Finance, Legal, and Engineering) to gather necessary inputs and ensure
proposals accurately reflect our company's capabilities.
• Opportunity & Risk Analysis: Analyze potential opportunities and customer needs to
evaluate commercial viability and strategic fit. Conduct deep-dive assessments of deal
risks and prepare robust mitigation plans with relevant stakeholders.
• Financial Modeling & P&L: Prepare comprehensive deal P&Ls and analyze pricing
models to strike the perfect balance between a highly competitive, winning bid and
optimal business profitability.
• Project Management: Develop detailed proposal plans, drafts, and schedules while
ensuring all strict deadlines are met.
• Executive Presentation: Present proposal strategies, commercial details, and risk
profiles to senior management for approval.
• Quality & Compliance: Review, edit, and finalize proposal documents to ensure the
highest quality, compliance with tender requirements, and alignment with our
technical solutions and company policies.
• Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-submission debriefs and incorporate
lessons learned into future proposals. Develop and implement proposal management
procedures and best practices.
• Knowledge Management: Maintain and update a comprehensive database of
proposals, historical data, and related documents for future reference using internal
collaboration tools

Requirements
• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience as a Proposal Manager, Bid Manager, or a
similar role.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial
Engineering and Management, or a related field.
• Financial Acumen: Strong financial and analytical skills, with practical experience in
deal pricing, P&L creation, and commercial risk assessment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—specifically Advanced Excel
(financial modeling, formulas, data analysis)—as well as Word, PowerPoint, and
Google Workspace. Ability to quickly adapt to various proprietary internal software and
collaboration tools.
• Project Management: Excellent project management, multitasking, and organizational
skills, with a proven ability to work independently and handle multiple proposals
simultaneously under tight deadline pressure.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with
meticulous attention to detail.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, teamwork abilities, and a strategic-thinking mindset
with a deep understanding of bid processes and proposal development.
• Resilience: Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight,
unforgiving deadlines.
