Factory 54 is looking for a strategic, execution-driven VP of Data to lead our data, BI, and AI initiatives across retail and eCommerce. You’ll own our data platform, drive insight delivery across business units, and help transition the company toward predictive, real-time decision-making.
This is a high-impact executive role for someone who can lead data strategy while building a modern, scalable, and business-aligned data operation.
What You’ll Do:
• Define and lead company-wide data strategy
• Oversee data infrastructure, governance, BI, and analytics
• Deliver actionable insights across retail, logistics, marketing, and finance
• Lead and grow data engineering, BI, and analytics teams
• Drive adoption of AI/ML use cases in forecasting and personalization
You Bring:
• 8+ years in data/BI leadership (retail or B2C a strong plus)
• Strong experience with cloud data platforms, BI tools, governance
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of business impact
Bonus:
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, or modern ELT stacks
• Led AI/ML initiatives or enterprise data modernization
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, or similar compliance standards
